GERTRUDE WAITHE nee Cherrie born November 15th,1910 was in her 107th year When she passed away on Sunday November 19th,2017 in the suburb of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Predeceased by her parents Alexander & Mary Cherrie and 11 siblings - Harold, Cecil, Alwyn,Rupert, Carl, Ralph, Hugh,May, Nora, Marjorie, Kenneth Sister of Max Cherrie of Manchester, England. Mother of Bryan Waithe, Marilyn Chadee, Allison D'Oliveira. Mother in law of Louise Waithe, Patrick Chadee, Anthony D'Oliveira. Grandmother of Natasha, Patrice, Alastair,Jeremy, Jason, Jesse and Justin. Great grandmother of Soleil, Jayden & Taijah Auntand Great Aunt of many. Dearfriend of Ginesta Agard and many others. The funeral mass will be held on Wed.Nov. 22nd, 2017 at the Merciful Redeemer Parish in Missisauga, Ontario and Gertrude will be laid to rest with her husband James Waithe at Glen Oaks Funeral Home &Cemetery in Oakville, Ontario.
