RAMSARAN: FARIDA nee Hosein of Cascade passed away peacefully on Thursday 22nd February, 2018. Farida was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves to mourn her husband of fifty-one years, Bhim Ramsaran, her three children, Lisa Marie Ramsaran-Maharaj, Nigel Ramsaran and Barry Ramsaran. She was also the mother of the late Joanne Ram-saran. She was the mother in law of Sunil Maharaj and Sharlene Ramsaran. Devoted grandmother of Gabriella, Matthew & Abigail Ramsaran, Nikolai, Alek & Gianna Maharaj, and Cayden Ramsaran. Beloved Daughter of Wahid & Jainup Hosein (dec). Dearest sister of Isha Bocas, Joan Deen (Daniel), Jemma Gaffoor (Ashaf) & Mozzam Hosein (Miriam). Pre-deceased by Sonny Bocas, Korisha Hosein (Shaikul), Sheila Mohammed (Manan), Joyce Sala-mat (Inool), Nazrah Ali & Shirley Hosein. Sister-in-Law of Mahboub (Chico), Gopichan Ramsa-ran (Joyce), Balchan, Satchan, Suresh, Deo (all deceased), Sharda Bissoondath, Elsie Sohan (Jerome), Dulcie Chadee (Ritchie). Cherished Aunty and great aunt of many. Funeral service for the late Farida Ramsaran takes place on the 23rd February, 2018 at 1:30pm at the Haji Gokool Mosque, St. James and then to the Western Cemetery for burial according to Muslim rites.
